ROSETAS is a 10-week, residential research and professional development program. Accepted students will be provided with a $7,000 stipend and housing near the Johns Hopkins campus. The program is open to all US Citizen or permanent resident undergraduate students in any technical field who have completed at least one year of college and have not yet graduated with a bachelor’s degree.

China’s dominance in critical minerals presents a clear strategic vulnerability for the U.S. This forum will examine the industrial, environmental, and geopolitical levers the U.S. can pull to secure reliable, ethical, and sustainable access to rare earths and critical minerals. We’ll explore opportunities for U.S. industrial policy, and reshoring, friend-shoring, and innovation in critical minerals extraction, processing, and recycling.
