Smart Energy Call for Innovation (C4i)
Launched in 2022, the Smart Energy Call for Innovation (C4i) is a collaboration between the Energy Institute and Genesis to invest in student entrepreneurs who have innovative, functional solutions to pressing energy and climate challenges. C4i-backed startups join the Genesis portfolio, where they have access to funding, educational resources, and mentorship opportunities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with funding recipients announced each year in the Fall semester.
The Smart Energy Call for Innovation can include submissions from any field as long as the value to the energy chain in that field is clear.
