Engineer by training, Arnaud joined ENGIE 28 years ago. He held various positions in the gas transmission business unit in France during the first 10 years. In 2007, he moved to the E&P division, in Norway and Egypt as BD and Asset Manager, then in Qatar as General Manager. Back in France in 2016 as Chief of Staff of the Group’s EVP for North America and UK, Arnaud joined in 2019 Storengy, ENGIE’s business entity managing underground gas storage, geothermal power and renewable gases businesses, as Head of Development.

In 2023, Arnaud took the role of Chief BD Officer of ENGIE’s Renewable Gases Europe to develop RNG production in 8 European countries.

In November 2023, Arnaud joined ENGIE’s Networks Global Business Unit team in the US as Managing Director Gas to lead the development of new gas business with a focus on green hydrogen and e-methane production.

Energy Transition Subsurface Lead, ExxonMobil

Martin Terrell leads subsurface components in support of ExxonMobil’s Low Carbon Solutions business.  His teams have developed ExxonMobil’s global portfolio of carbon storage opportunities including in the US, Canada, Northern Europe and southeast Asia.  He is now focused on evaluating geologic hydrogen and developing a strategic pathway for this resource.  Prior to this he has 25 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, production, and technology development across ExxonMobil, Chevron and ARCO.  He has worked most major basins, domestic and international, and both conventional and unconventional.  He brings a highly integrated approach to solve business problems with experience in geophysics, geology, reservoir engineering, and project economics. 

Dr. Terrell earned a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines where he worked one of the earliest carbon capture and storage projects.  He travels extensively and holds the world record for skiing all seven continents in less than 10 days.

With extensive international experience, Amine is dedicated to advancing technological progress and sustainability both locally and globally. As an energy engineer by training, he has spent over 16 years in the industrial gases sector, holding senior leadership and board positions within Air Liquide subsidiaries across EMEA. Since 2018, he has been deeply involved in shaping the hydrogen economy in Europe, leveraging his expertise in customer processes, industrial partnerships, and both traditional and emerging hydrogen markets.

Christian Rockenbauch is the Director of Engineering for Hydrogen Electrolysis at thyssenkrupp nucera USA in Houston, TX. With over two decades of experience in international project execution and engineering, he is a recognized leader in designing and managing large-scale industrial plants.
 
Christian’s expertise spans automation, controls, and instrumentation for the chemical and mining industries. Before his current role, he served as Head of Department for Automation & Controls in the USA, where he led engineering teams across North America and established standards for executing complex projects, including fertilizer, hydrogen, and material handling systems. His career has included extensive international assignments, site supervision, and commissioning for major global projects.
 
Christian holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Joaquin Resasco

Joaquin Resasco was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. He completed his B.S. at the University of Oklahoma, and his Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley under the guidance of Prof. Alex Bell. At Berkeley, he was an NSF and UC Chancellor’s Fellow. Following his Ph.D. Joaquin was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara with Prof. Phil Christopher. As of January 2021, Joaquin is an Assistant Professor in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Joaquin is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Young Investigator Award, the ACS PRF Doctoral New Investigator Award, ACS Materials Au Rising Star in Materials Science, the Forbes 30 Under 30, and AIChE’s 35 under 35.

Filipe Joel Soares is Senior Researcher at INESC TEC and Head of the Multi-Energy Networks area. His work centres on data-driven optimisation and predictive analytics for green hydrogen within coupled electricity–gas systems, covering renewable-powered electrolysis, electrolyser sizing and scheduling, H₂ storage flexibility and multi-energy infrastructure planning and operation. He leads technical activities in EU and national projects, most recently delivering green hydrogen/ammonia use cases under Portugal’s ATE programme. He has 100+ peer-reviewed articles published.

Dr. Dick joined UT Austin in Fall 2022 where he leads the TRAIN lab. His current research interests include railway mainline, yard and terminal capacity, design and interaction, railroad network operations and performance resiliency, operations potential of advanced railway traffic control systems with virtual and moving blocks, railway energy efficiency and alternative energy locomotives, technology-assisted train operations and self-propelled autonomous railcars, predictive analytics for operations and maintenance planning, and safety of rail operations and hazardous materials transportation.

Ashish Mhadeshwar received a BS in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai (2000) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware (2005). After his PhD, he worked at GE as a Senior Engineer and then at the University of Connecticut as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering. He joined ExxonMobil 13 years ago and has held various roles and positions. His work has primarily focused on process development with modeling techniques such as kinetic, reactor and process modeling, phenomenological modeling, compositional modeling, data science, and optimization. Ashish currently leads the Advantaged Blue H2 Technology Development in LCS H2 Technology Portfolio supporting ExxonMobil’s LCS business.

LtCol Matthew Neely enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1999 and was assigned to Lima Company, 3/25th. He was the Class Honor Graduate of the School of Infantry and designated as a 0331 Machine Gunner. He attended Ashland University, competing twice in the NCAA Wrestling National Championships. Commissioned in 2004 and later assigned a 1302, Combat Engineer Officer. He attended the Marine Corps Engineer School and was the recipient of the Marine Corps Engineer Association’s Cornwall Leadership Award.

LtCol Neely’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (third award). He is married to Mrs. Kristine Neely from Columbus, Ohio and has three children, Caelan, Stella, and Conor. He is the son of Maggie Neely, and Colonel David Neely USMC (RET). LtCol Neely has two brothers, Columbus Fire CAPT Michael Neely and Major David Neely USMC(RET). LtCol Neely is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a B.S. in Education from Ashland University, Master’s in Military Studies from Marine Corps University, and Master’s in Business Administration from Boise State University.

Mr. Elrick has three decades of experience bringing new vehicle technologies and supporting infrastructure to the commercial market, with a specific focus on zero emission technologies. During his tenure at the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Partnership, he has built consensus among public and private stakeholders, directed the development of roadmaps and action plans for light- and heavy-duty fuel cell applications, and supported California’s leadership in the initial retail vehicle market launch. He is now focused on expanding the Partnership’s outreach, education, and engagement activities across North America to accelerate a sustainable hydrogen mobility market that is effective and accessible to all.
