This event will provide an opportunity to listen to fellow students about their research experiences, how to approach finding/applying to summer research internships, research statement advice, and their recommendations on the available programs for students. This year’s panelists have completed fellowships as a part of the CNS Advanced Summer Research Fellowship, UT Southwestern Amgen Program, and the National Institution of Health Summer Internship Program in a variety of disciplines including climate change, neuroscience, cell/molecular biology, computer science, criminal studies, and bioinformatics. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the event, so we encourage you to bring your own questions in addition to the panel discussion!
Whether you're hoping to find a research fellowship, learn about the research process, build your skills, or make valuable connections, this event is for you. Experienced students will be there to discuss their work, available programs for students, and how you can start research.
Please RSVP by Friday, November 21st by filling out a quick Google form.
