Mike Sloan is the co-founder and CEO of Synergetic and its subsidiary Texas Hydrogen (TXH2), which has more than 345,000 acres under lease for solar, wind, and infrastructure development in the Texas panhandle region. Synergetic initially launched as a green hydrogen developer and then pivoted in 2024 to focus on power for data centers. With expected surplus of solar and wind electricity beyond the needs of data center anchor tenants, the firm believes there will still be a role for green hydrogen, enabled by gas storage in salt caverns created in the panhandle region.
