Managing Director of Partnerships and Engagement
Lisa Hernandez serves as the Managing Director of Partnerships and Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin Energy Institute, where she leads efforts to strengthen partnerships and engagement that support the Institute’s research, education, and stakeholder initiatives. With over a decade of experience optimizing business processes and driving operational efficiency, Lisa brings a strong background in partnership development, program management, and strategic engagement.
Before joining the Energy Institute, she led events and development initiatives in the nonprofit sector. She established and managed sponsorship programs at a state department, significantly increasing secured funds, and authored a sustainable government program in public housing. These accomplishments reflect her commitment to building meaningful collaborations and advancing initiatives that create lasting community impact.
