Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) has taken on the challenge of commercializing liquefied hydrogen (LH2). Keiichiro Segawa, one of the most senior members from Hydrogen Strategy Division of KHI, plays an important role in promoting several LH2 projects.
He also serves as a board member of Japan Suiso Energy (JSE), established to promote commercial-scaled LH2 supply chains, is now building a LH2 transport ship and constructing its receiving terminal in Japan.
He started his energy-related career in 1989 at one of the major Japanese trading companies and contributed to a lot of LNG project deliveries. His over 30 years’ project development experience and network have been well leveraged to promote KHI-related hydrogen projects since transferring to KHI in 2022. This is his second time speaking at this event since 2024.
