Senior Development Manager, Green Hydrogen, AES Clean Energy

Daniel Henry is a Senior Development Manager in the Green Hydrogen division at AES Clean Energy, a next-generation energy company with over four decades of experience helping the world transition to clean, renewable energy.

Over the past eight years, Daniel has held various roles in the energy industry, including project development, engineering, and EPC management. In his current role, Daniel is leading AES’ green hydrogen efforts as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub (HyVelocity Hub). These efforts aim to kickstart the clean hydrogen economy in with plans for large-scale hydrogen production. 

Daniel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY University at Buffalo, has FAA trade certifications to repair aircraft, and is a member of the Project Management Institute. 

Daniel is a passionate advocate for safeguarding our planet while advancing a modern, developed society through the use of clean energy sources.
