Charalambos (Harrys) Konstantinou is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering (CEMSE) Division at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. During the 2026-2027 academic year, he is a Harrington Faculty Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). He received the M.Eng. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University (NYU), NY, USA. Before joining KAUST, he was an Assistant Professor with the Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS), Florida State University (FSU). His research focuses on the security and resilience of critical infrastructures, with an emphasis on smart grid technologies, inverter-based resources, the grid integration of large flexible loads such as AI data centers, and real-time simulation. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and currently serves as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.
