UT Austin researchers share lessons from shale gas revolution with Argentine delegation

The Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law & Business and the Jackson School of Geosciences’ Latin America and Caribbean Energy Program recently hosted a series of meetings and tours for high-level Argentine government officials and senior energy industry executives. Energy experts from several departments and schools delivered presentations on Texas’ experience with oil and gas exploration and production, including the Bureau of Economic Geology, the Department of Petroleum & Geosystems Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
