Journalists from across the U.S. who regularly cover energy and the environment convened in Austin recently to hear presentations from UT Austin faculty and other energy researchers during the third annual UT Energy Journalism Workshop. The two-day event, hosted by the Energy Institute and supported by the School of Journalism and School of Law, featured presentations and panel discussions on a variety of topics, including offshore drilling, integration of renewables into the electric grid, carbon sequestration, new trends in sustainable building design, and transformative changes in the U.S. transportation industry.
