UT Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering ranks among the top 10 graduate programs in engineering (No. 6 among public universities) in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 graduate program rankings, a position the school has held for the past five years. The school’s aerospace, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, mechanical and petroleum engineering programs all ranked in the nation’s top 10, with two of the programs in the top five: petroleum engineering at No. 1 and civil engineering at No. 2.
