Summer demand for power could test Texas electric grid

This summer could present a stiff test for the Texas electric grid, but early indicators suggest we will get by, writes Energy Institute Research Associate Joshua Rhodes in a new op-ed published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Waco Tribune-Herald.  High prices brought on by tight reserve margins will send a signal to the market for what resources need to be developed, Rhodes argues, evidence that the market is working as intended.
