Students awarded cash prizes for winning energy research posters during UT Energy Week

UT Austin graduate students focused on energy were awarded cash prizes for award-winning posters during the annual UT Energy Week research competition. Students entered detailed posters explaining their research in three categories: Environmental and Sustainability; Renewable Energy and Storage; and Fossil Fuels and By-Products. Prizes also were awarded for Crowd Favorite and Best Undergrad posters. Go here for details on this year’s winners. UT Energy Week, now in its fifth year, is organized by the student-run Longhorn Energy Club in collaboration with the university’s Energy Institute, and is supported by the Jackson School of Geosciences, the Cockrell School of Engineering, the KBH Center for Energy, Law & Business and the McCombs Energy Initiative.
