Shell Chief Technology Officer discusses how energy giant supports R&D on a global scale

Yuri Sebregts, Chief Technology Officer for Shell, answered questions from a roomful of students and others about how the global energy giant invests $1 billion a year in energy research and development during a special appearance on the UT Austin campus. Sebregts discussed how Shell balances the need for urgent actions to combat climate change with the company’s commitment to extending access to energy across the globe.
