The Cockrell School of Engineering’s Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics recently celebrated the grand opening of its new home on UT Austin campus — the newly renovated Aerospace Engineering Building (ASE). The ASE Building is part of the Cockrell School’s vision to modernize its footprint on the UT Austin campus, following the opening of the Engineering Education and Research Center in September 2017, and the anticipated opening of the Energy Engineering Building in 2021.
