New research shows warmer climate could trigger disruption of ocean circulation systems

New research from UT Austin is adding to concerns that global warming could profoundly affect ocean circulation systems, with severe implications for North America and Europe. Jud Partin, a research scientist with the university’s Institute for Geophysics, was lead author on a paper that explores how the Earth’s climate responded to rising temperatures at the end of the last ice age.
