Energy Institute Deputy Director Michael Webber runner-up for 2017 Hamilton Award

Energy Institute Deputy Director Michael Webber, a professor in UT’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, was one of three runners-up winners in the 2017 Hamilton Award, the highest honor for literary achievement given by the university to UT Austin authors. The awards are named for Robert W. Hamilton, who served as chairman of the board of the University Co-op from 1989 to 2001. Webber was honored for his book, “Thirst for Power: Energy, Water and Human Survival.” Read more.
