Applications are now being accepted for the third annual UT Energy Journalism Workshop, hosted by UT Austin’s Energy Institute, School of Journalism, and Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law & Business. The two-day workshop, Sept. 25-26, 2018, provides an opportunity for journalists who regularly cover energy or environmental issues to learn first-hand from some of the world’s leading energy experts. The program features fast-paced presentations and panel discussions from UT Austin faculty and other researchers on a broad range of energy issues – offshore drilling, integration of renewables to the electric grid, climate change adaptation and mitigation, sustainable building design, and transformative changes in the U.S. transportation industry, among others.
