The University of Texas at Austin and the Energy Institute are committed to transparency and disclosure of all potential conflicts of interest. In addition to the Energy Institute itself, funding sources for each of the Institute’s directors also are provided.

Funding for research, student training, and outreach comes from a variety of private and public sources. In some cases, we also have included links to other sites (e.g., research groups) that provide additional details regarding sponsors

All directors of the Energy Institute have filed required financial disclosure forms with The University of Texas at Austin. They receive funding for their research projects from a variety of sources, including federal, state, regional and local governmental agencies, non-profit foundations, and private industry organizations. Energy Institute directors also have served as consultants and received speaking honoraria from private groups.
