Workshop on Batteries for a Sustainable Future

Professor Arumugam Manthiram and The Energy Institute at The University of Texas at Austin are hosting on November 18th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a virtual Workshop on Batteries for a Sustainable Future featuring leading experts in first principles modeling, novel battery materials, and sustainable accounting and life cycle analysis of emerging battery technologies.  Emerging energy storage technologies are key to a future with net-zero carbon emissions.  This workshop will provide brief technical introductions, overviews and assessments of several of the latest developments in lithium ion battery technologies aiming to reach the market in the next several years by some of the world’s foremost experts.
