UT Energy Symposium: Transitioning to electricity as a fuel: challenges and opportunities for remaking our refueling infrastructure
The UT Energy Symposium welcomes Michael Nicholas, Senior Researcher at The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) to give a talk titled "Transitioning to electricity as a fuel: challenges and opportunities for remaking our refueling infrastructure."
Speaker bio: Dr. Michael Nicholas is a senior researcher at the International Council on Clean Transportation. His work focusses on the electric vehicle market transition with particular focus on policy, consumer behavior and electric vehicle infrastructure. He has assisted state, federal and international policymakers on understanding the shift to electric vehicles and how policy can help effectively shape the future market. He is a member and editor with the National Academies standing committee on Alternative Transportation Fuels and Technologies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in Transportation Technology and Policy.
