Calling all undergraduate graduate students, researchers, and post docs! 

Showcase your cutting-edge energy research at UT Energy Week 2025 (March 31) by participating in our Energy Research Poster Competition. This is your chance to share your work, connect with experts, and win prizes!

Submission Deadline: March 3, 2025 

Notification of Acceptance: March 18, 2025 

Competition Date: March 31, 2025 

 

Categories 

Energy Technologies and Innovation - Focus on advancements in renewable energy, energy storage, grid technologies, and more. 

Energy Policy, Law, Finance, and Economics - Address the crucial connections between energy systems and their implications for policy frameworks, economic models, and sustainable practices. 

 

Prizes  

Prizes will be awarded in each category based on scores determined by a panel of judges comprising experts from academia and industry. 

 

Prizes will be awarded from a pool of $8,000

                     

1. Energy Technologies and Innovation

1st Place: $2,000

2nd Place: $1,000

Undergrad: $750

Audience Choice: $250

 

2. Energy Policy, Law, Finance, and Economics

 

1st Place: $2,000

2nd Place: $1,000

Undergrad: $750

Audience Choice: $250

 

 

A 1st place prize will be given to the top presentations in each category. Additional awards, such as “2nd Place,” “Undergraduate,” and “Audience Choice,” will also be given to recognize exceptional contributions. 

 

Abstract Guidelines 

Length: One page max, with up to 250 words 

Format: Include title, authors, category, contact info, and research findings; submit as a PDF 

Submission Link: Submit Your Work! 

 

Selected participants will present their work in person during UT Energy Week 2025. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain recognition and contribute to advancing energy solutions.
