Eric Danziger, Managing Director – Energy Transition, Riverbend Energy Group

Abstract: The current Energy Transition has garnered a lot of attention over the past year. This has attracted capital, entrepreneurs and new business models. How is this upward momentum different from the renewable energy / cleantech from 2012- 2014?

Bio: Eric Danziger joined Riverbend in 2021 as Managing Director – Energy Transition. Danziger has over 10 years of management experience in Energy Transition investing and operations.

Danziger previously served as Chief Revenue Officer of Innowatts, a leading energy software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps electricity providers optimize their businesses with artificial intelligence (AI) enabled forecasting and customer-centric data analytics. Innowatts is backed by Shell Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, Evergy Ventures, Iberdrola (Spain), Energy and Environment Investment (Japan), and Veronorte (Columbia). Danziger led global sales, business development, partnerships, and marketing efforts in his role as Chief Revenue Officer.

Prior to Innowatts, Danziger served as Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Genability, a software and rate engine analytics provider of energy cost and savings data to the leaders in solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, and home energy management. Following a transaction with Enel, Danziger transitioned to the Company’s Board of Directors.

Danziger holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas. Danziger also serves on the Board of Directors at The Shlenker School, the Budget Committee for Congregation Beth Yeshurun, and is the Executive Director of the Walk & Roll for Spinal Cord Injuries Foundation.
