2026 Energy Poster Competition
The Energy Institute is now accepting abstract submissions for an energy poster competition highlighting research in solar photovoltaics, energy storage, and hydrogen. Topics may include basic science, engineering, material science, technology development, innovation, finance, policy, legal framework, to communication. Students, postdoctoral researchers, and scholars from any university are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Selected abstracts will be notified within seven days of the submission deadline and invited to present their work during the poster session on October 7 during the networking reception. Posters will remain on display and winners will be announced at the conclusion of October 8.
Selected posters will be eligible for the following prizes:
Director's Choice
- $1,000
- $500
- $250
- $100
Audience Choice
- $500
- $250
- $100
Posters will be evaluated by Energy Institute Director Brian Korgel based on the work presented in the poster. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for an Audience Choice Award. No formal presentation to judges is required.
ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
- Abstracts must include: a title, names of all contributing authors, a method of contact, and a description of the key research findings.
- One relevant figure may be included (optional).
- The complete abstract must not exceed one page in length.
- Abstract text should be no more than 250.
- Files should be submitted in PDF (.pdf) format.
