Jack Broodo is business president for the Dow Feedstocks & Energy business. In this role, Broodo leads the business globally, working to generate increased earnings and accelerate the execution of Dow’s strategy.
Broodo has served in a variety of commercial, business and operations leadership roles throughout his more than 35-year career with the Company. His background includes significant experience across Dow’s olefins and aromatics businesses and in-depth knowledge of the global feedstocks and energy markets.
From 1998 through 2009 Broodo lead various feedstocks and energy business development and business segments for Dow’s US and Latin American businesses including the role of Feedstocks Director for the six ethylene plants Dow operates in the USGC. In 2009, Broodo moved to the senior leadership role for Dow’s business operations across Canada – driving results for the Company and maintaining positive relationships across the communities in which Dow operates. In 2013, he took on additional responsibility as director of feedstocks for Dow’s North and Latin America regions, where his leadership was instrumental in enhancing the Company’s position in Latin America. Notably, during this time, he served as a key member of the team leading the advancement of the Company’s U.S. Gulf Coast investment program. In late 2014 he joined the Dow finance team as vice president of Investor Relations, where he was responsible for facilitating dialogue between Dow’s stockholders and the Company’s executive leadership. Jack assumed the Feedstocks and Energy Business President role in January of 2016.
Broodo earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas, Austin.
